Obertilliach with its listed buildings is one of the Alps' most beautiful towns. It blends harmoniously into the unique landscape of the upper Lesachtal valley. The valley opens to reveal incredibly beautiful views of the mountains. A place for those seeking serenity and relaxation but also for people looking for adventure off the beaten path. Summer facilities:
Large, well-marked trail system, Cross-Country and Biathlon Center including a paved ski roller track, playground, double chair lift, mountain huts, paragliding, model airplaning, horse riding ("Pension Andreas", "Landhaus Lugger), "Fit & Fun" sports club (rafting, kayaking, canyoning), "Alpin Aktiv Hochpustertal" mountaineering school, Biathlon Sports Academy (see Additional Links in the right menu bar).
A MOUNTAIN WONDERLAND
In early summer (June-July), when everything's in bloom, the Alpine landscape turns into a treasure chest.
Obertilliach is still a secret spot for paragliders. Our skies are never crowded although there are special lift prices available.
The new "Bike Tour Manual" written by Hansjörg Scherer (published by Tyrolia Verlag) includes a variety of mountain bike tours in and around Obertilliach.
Obertilliach offers a choice of accommodation ranging from 3-star hotels and guesthouses to vacation rental apartments.

Obertilliach is probably the most beautiful winter resort in Osttirol. Doorstep skiing, plenty of sun and a blend of originality and hospitality create loyal guests.

1 double chairlift, 4 T-bar lifts, cross-country and biathlon center, 30-km cross-country ski trail connected to the 60-km "Grenzlandloipe" (borderland trail), horse-drawn sleigh rides, sled trails, groomed trails for hiking, ski school, ski rental, apres-ski cafes, snack stations, "Alpin Aktiv Hochpustertal" mountaineering school.
